Grounds for Termination in the Philippines

  1. Serious misconduct or willful disobedience of lawful orders of his/her employer
  2. Gross and habitual neglect by the employee of his/her duties
  3. Inhuman and unbearable treat
  4. Fraud and willful breach by the employee of trust reposed in him by his employer or duly authorized representative
  5. Crime committed against the person of his employer or any immediate member of his family or his duly authorized representatives
  6. Cessation of business or reduction of employees
  7. Termination by the employee (with notice of 1 month in advance)
  8. Termination by the employee (without notice) due to serious insult to the employee by the employer or any of its representatives
  9. Commission of crime by the employer or its representatives against the employee
  10. Other analogous causes
