BI Temporarily Allows Immigrants and Non-Immigrants Without ACR-I Card to Depart the Philippines

BI ACR-I Card Philippines

The Bureau of Immigration (BI), in a press release dated March 27, temporarily allows foreign nationals without Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR-I Card) to depart the Philippines, provided that they have an approved and implemented visa.

Those with pending ACR-I Card must secure a waiver from the BI office.

Requirements to be presented at Philippine Airports:

  • Passport with valid visa
  • Official Receipts of the ACR-I Card Waiver Application Fee
  • Emigration Clearance Certificate (ECC)
  • Returning Permit (RP) or Special Resident Certificate (SRC)*

*whichever is applicable

BI implemented this measure to minimize person-to-person contact due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and social distancing measures from the government. Foreign nationals are advised to keep the said requirements because they will be applied upon re-entry in the Philippines under their corresponding visa.
