Post Registration Requirements for PEZA Registered Entities
- Application for Approval of Start of Commercial Operations (SCO) – first year only
- The application for approval of SCO is one of the prerequisites for the validation of the Income Tax Holiday (ITH) Incentive and securing of the PEZA Certificate of Available Incentives. This must be filed within seven (7) days from the actual commencement of commercial operations.
- Application for Revalidation of the ITH Incentive – every year
- This application must be filed within 45 days after the first year of the PEZA-registered entity’s approved SCO. Once approved, PEZA will issue a Notice of Confirmation as proof that the PEZA-registered entity has compiled with the required amount of investment in machinery and equipment and investment cost per seat.
- Renewal of PEZA Certificate of Available Incentives – every year
- The application for approval of SCO is one of the prerequisites for the validation of the Income Tax Holiday (ITH) Incentive and securing of the PEZA Certificate of Available Incentives. This must be filed within seven (7) days from the actual commencement of commercial operations.
- Renewal of Value Added Tax (VAT) Zero Rating Certificate – every year
- This application must be filed within 45 days after the first year of the PEZA-registered entity’s approved SCO. Once approved, PEZA will issue a Notice of Confirmation as proof that the PEZA-registered entity has compiled with the required amount of investment cost per seat.
Note that before the PEZA issues the Certificate of Available Incentives, PEZA-registered companies have to comply with these post-registration conditions
