Grounds for Termination in the Philippines
- Serious misconduct or willful disobedience of lawful orders of his/her employer
- Gross and habitual neglect by the employee of his/her duties
- Inhuman and unbearable treat
- Fraud and willful breach by the employee of trust reposed in him by his employer or duly authorized representative
- Crime committed against the person of his employer or any immediate member of his family or his duly authorized representatives
- Cessation of business or reduction of employees
- Termination by the employee (with notice of 1 month in advance)
- Termination by the employee (without notice) due to serious insult to the employee by the employer or any of its representatives
- Commission of crime by the employer or its representatives against the employee
- Other analogous causes
